The University of Eldoret invites students to participate in the 4th University of Eldoret Innovation Challenge, themed “Campus Innovation Challenge: Solve a Problem on Campus.”

The Innovation Challenge aims to encourage students to identify real challenges within the University community and develop creative, practical and innovative solutions. It provides an opportunity for students to strengthen their problem-solving, teamwork, communication, entrepreneurship and innovation skills.

Challenge Areas

Students are invited to develop solutions addressing challenges in areas including:

• Teaching and Learning
• Teaching Materials and Methods for the New Curriculum
• Digital Solutions
• Campus Services
• Sustainability
• Student Experience
• Resource Efficiency
• Environmental Challenges
• Any Other Campus-Based Problem

Application Deadline

Applications for the Innovation Challenge are open until 30 October 2026.

Students are encouraged to identify a problem affecting the University community and develop an innovative solution that can contribute to improving campus life and services.

Final Pitching Competition

The final pitching competition will be held on:

Time: 2:00 p.m.
Venue: University of Eldoret, as part of the 8th Annual Innovation Week

Finalists will have an opportunity to present their solutions before a judging panel.
