Biography
Received a B.Sc. (Wildlife Management) from Moi University in 1988, M.Sc. in Hydrobiology from University of Nairobi in 1995 and Ph.D. in Marine Biology from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2002. Currently serves as a Professor of Fisheries, University of Eldoret and an Adjunct Professor at Memorial University, Canada. He is an Editor of Fisheries Research Journal-Elsevier.
He has published 62 papers in peer reviewed journals. Serves as one of the African Members of the IUCN Commission for Migratory Species-Sharks MoU Committee, Member IUCN Species Survival Commission, and an External Examiner at Makerere University, University of Dar es Salaam and JKUAT.
