The office of the Registrar Planning coordinates the planning, design, construction and maintenance of physical infrastructure that facilitates the achievement of the vision and mission of the University of Eldoret in three functional areas; student affairs, academic affairs and administration. In discharging this mandate, the office is guided by two documents i.e. the University Master Plan and the 2019-2024 Strategic Plan, as well as global trends in the development of University infrastructure.

Achievements
During the year, the Project Implementation Committee (PIC) focusing on infrastructure to improve security completed the Perimeter fence phases 5, 6 to 7 bringing to an end the construction and handing over of the 9 km long Perimeter Fence. The phase 3 of the installation of the CCTV Cameras within the campus was also successfully carried out.  In provision of lecture halls and offices for faculty, the School of Business, Economics and Management Sciences was completed while the construction of the 1,500 capacity Education amphitheater with a modern cafeteria is at 75% completion. 

The Division has also set in motion the process of finalizing the design of a new Science Complex to host modern laboratories, offices and lecture theaters among other facilities. This is geared towards alleviating the challenges being faced by one of the largest schools at the University. 

Besides these capital projects, the office also carries out several maintenance work in the entire University.

The University is also continuing with beautification and improvement of the working environment by paving walkways and planting flowers to achieve our dreams of greening our University

To enhance students’ welfare the University is continuously improving the recreational and sports facilities. Recently, the university completed the refurbishment of two basketball and two lawn tennis courts
