The library enables on its part the high standard of teaching and research at the University of Eldoret by producing the information services required by the university; effectively and in a high-quality manner.

The library promotes research, teaching, and learning by engaging in cooperation with other University libraries in selecting information resources, negotiating cost-effective agreements, acquiring resources, and acquiring users with the effective utilization of information resources.

We generate high-quality services for the present and anticipatory requirements of research, learning, and teaching. The needs of clients are the starting point in all service operations as well as in the development of services. The library’s services as provided are versatile, modern, and easily accessible, in addition to accommodating the requirements of various user groups. Services are developed proactively together with researchers, teachers, students, and other clients. In cooperation, various channels for dialogue are utilized in a flexible manner: e.g. through resource mobilization, library cooperation, or project-based partnership groups and other contacts.

The library continuously monitors and anticipates changes in the operational environment and reacts to them quickly by developing new services for the changing needs of the clientele. Through its services, the library promotes the operations of the university’s goal of being a premier university that is globally visible in knowledge generation and technological innovation mission.
