University Annual Research Grants Cohort 9 Awarding Ceremony

The awarding ceremony of the UoE-ARG Cohort 9 research grants was held on 17th  May, 2025 at the University. The  Vice-Chancellor Prof. Thomas Cheruiyot presided over the awarding ceremony. The ceremony was also attended by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Planning, Research, and Extension) Prof. Phillip Raburu, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics Students Affairs) Prof. Godfrey Natondo, Ag. Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration Finance) Prof. Nicholas Makau, Registrar (Administration) Dr. Joan Jelimo and the Director of Research and Innovation Prof. Lizzy Mwamburi, together with the Cohort 9 beneficiaries. In his Remarks, The  Vice-Chancellor Prof. Thomas Cheruiyot congratulated the Cohort 9 beneficiaries and urged them to publish their work in high-end journals in addition to developing innovations and quality business models from their research activities.
