Mutai Edwin Kibiwott - Valedictorian 2025

Mutai Edwin Kibiwott - Valedictorian 2025

It is with great joy and gratitude that I reflect on my journey at the University of Eldoret. Becoming the Valedictorian class of 2025 is an achievement I could not have reached alone. Throughout this demanding program, I was pushed to my limits, but it was the support of my lecturers, family, friends, classmates, and mentors that kept me moving forward. Their encouragement and guidance played a key role in my success, and for that, I am deeply thankful.

The road to this point was not easy. There were moments of self-doubt and challenges that seemed unconquerable, but I learned that persistence and a willingness to learn go a long way. More than just earning a degree, I’ve gained valuable experiences that have shaped me into the educator I aspire to be. My goal is to inspire the next generation of students to not only excel in biology and agriculture but to embrace the principles of sustainability and innovation.

To the  continuing students, I want to share this: Stay curious, remain resilient, and never underestimate the power of hard work. The challenges you face will shape you into better versions of yourselves. Embrace every learning opportunity, and know that with the right mindset, you can achieve far more than you ever imagined. Thank you to everyone who has been part of my journey. Congratulations class of 2025.
