The Mid-Level Staff Retreat convened by the University of Eldoret TAGDev 2.0 team commenced this morning 19th February 2026 at the Kenya School of Government, Kabarnet Campus, with a strong emphasis on strategic alignment and effective institutional management.

The opening session featured prayers, participant introductions, and expectation-setting, led by the TAGDev 2.0 Coordinator, Prof. Julius Ochuodho, who outlined the retreat’s objectives and agenda.
The morning programme culminated in a keynote address by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration & Finance), Prof. Wilson Ng’etich, who highlighted emerging human resource management issues and the evolving role of leadership in enhancing institutional effectiveness.

These initial discussions laid a strong foundation for reflective dialogue, collaboration, and the development of practical solutions throughout the retreat.
