Ms. Lindah Laboso, our recently appointed member of the University Council representing the Principal Secretary, State Department for Higher Education and Research, Ministry of Education, was hosted for a guided tour of both the Main Campus and the Eldoret Town Campus by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Planning, Research and Extension), Prof. Philip Raburu. This excursion formed an integral part of her induction programme designed to familiarize her with the operational domains of the University. The facilities she visited were the tree nursery, the University Farm, the Fish Hatchery, the University Health and the Outreach Centre. She viewed the perimeter fence surrounding the University and observed the ongoing farming activities.

She was accompanied by Dr. Benjamin Mwasi (Registrar of Planning) and Inspector Victor Tekwenyi (Principal Security Officer).
