The University of Eldoret Student leaders were privileged to participate in a HIV awareness sensitization that was done by the Uasin Gishu County in collaboration with AMPATH USAID. Speaking at the event, the UoE HIV Committee Chair, Dr. Salina Rono, reiterated that this was a great step towards students' empowerment in their reproductive health.
The University Medical Officer, Dr. Slyvia Baraza introduced the clinical team offering reproductive health services at the clinic and asked the Student Leaders to inform their fellow comrades that the reproduction health clinic is held every Friday.
Dr. Roselyn Kosgei from the School of Communication, a board member of the AMPATH research committee who was present expressed her joy in engaging the youth in health decision-making.
