- Mean grade of C+ (plus) at KCSE and a C plain in Mathematics and English Language in KCSE
- Be a holder of KACE certicate with a minimum of two principal passes and one subsidiary pass, plus at least pass in mathematics and English at ‘O’ level; OR
- Holder of HND may join 3rd year, OR
- Any other certicate in a relevant discipline awarded by an institution recognized by the University of Eldoret.
