- B.Sc. in Biology, Botany, Crop Protection, Zoology or Agriculture with a Second Class Honours Upper Division from a recognized institution OR
- Holders of Second Class Honours Lower Division in the above areas with 2 years work experience or two research publications or a relevant Postgraduate Diploma
