The University of Eldoret through the Directorate of Research & Innovation is calling for the 2024/2025 proposals for the University of Eldoret Annual Research Grant (ARG) Cohort 9. Only University of Eldoret staff are eligible to apply. The aim of this grant is to promote research and build the experience of younger researchers through mentorship. ARG will be used to fund competitive interdisciplinary research where senior researchers at the level of lecturer with a doctorate degree and above are eligible to apply.

The grant is meant to support applied research and innovations that are in line with the Bottom-Up Transformation Agenda (BETA), Kenya Vision 2030 and African Union  2063 Agenda. The proposals should be in line with the following thematic areas:

• Food and Nutritional Security.
• Universal Health Care.
• Manufacturing and Affordable Housing.
• Governance and People Centered Development.
• Climate Change & Natural Resource Management 
• Artificial Intelligence

Soft copy of duly completed application form and scans of accompanying documents should be sent to uoegrants@uoeld.ac.ke  Incomplete applications and/or those that reach after the deadline will NOT be considered. Only successful applicants will be contacted. The list of the successful applicants will be posted on the University website.
