Dr. Siringi is a highly experienced academic and professional engineer with over two decades of teaching, research, consultancy, and academic leadership in Civil, Environmental, and Water Engineering. Holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering & Management, a Master of Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, with strong interdisciplinary training acquired in Kenya and the United States. Currently serves as Senior Lecturer in the School of Engineering, Department of Civil and Structural Engineering, with extensive experience teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in environmental, water, geotechnical, and structural engineering.

Dr. Siringi is an established researcher with a strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals and international conference proceedings, successful in attracting research funding, building research teams, and supervising numerous MSc and PhD candidates to completion.

Dr. Siringi brings valuable industry and regulatory experience from service as an Environmental Engineer and Enforcement Coordinator in the United States, alongside significant local and regional engineering consultancy work in structural design and construction supervision. Actively engaged in governance and community leadership through chairmanship and membership of Boards of Governors, contributing to academic performance, mentorship, and institutional development.
