The University of Eldoret's Directorate of Research & Innovation has launched the Annual Research Grant (ARG) - Cohort 10 for the 2025/2026 funding cycle. This competitive grant is open exclusively to UoE academic staff and aims to support innovative, interdisciplinary research aligned with national and continental development agendas.

Key Grant Details

Purpose: To promote research excellence and mentor younger researchers.
Thematic Areas: Food Security, Universal Health Care, Manufacturing, Affordable Housing, Governance, Climate Change, AI, and more.
Funding: Up to Ksh. 500,000 per project.
Duration: Maximum 12 months.
Eligibility: Senior researchers (PhD and above) must include junior UoE researchers in their teams.

Application Requirements:
Proposals must be developed using the official templates, not exceed 10 pages, and be interdisciplinary in nature. Successful projects will be required to submit regular reports, publish findings, and participate in university research events.

Deadline: All applications must be submitted via email to uoegrants@uoeid.ac.ke by March 20, 2026.
