Vice-Chancellor meets with Commissioner Isaac Melly from the Salaries and Remuneration Commission

During the 1st Town Hall meeting on December 18th, 2023 with members of the UoE community, Prof. Thomas Cheruiyot stated that he would strive to improve staff welfare. The V.C. held talks with Commissioner Hon. Isaac Melly from the Salaries and Remuneration Commission and discussed various areas of quality staff experiences.

UoE Eldoret Campus has become a beacon of light within the region offering superb service and tailor-made courses.  Our programmes encompass professional and short courses meant to re-tool the client to be more relevant in his/her field of expertise in this ever-changing world. Dr. Frank Masese

Dr Frank Masese is a Senior Lecturer of Aquatic Science in the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Science at the University of Eldoret, Kenya. He holds BSc and MSc degrees in Fisheries and Aquatic Science from Moi University, Kenya, and a PhD in Freshwater Ecosystems from Wageningen University & Research, the Netherlands. In 2017-2019, Dr Masese was a Humboldt Postdoctoral Fellow at the Leibniz Institute for Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries (IGB), Berlin, Germany.

The core mandate of University of Eldoret Library is to promote education and help students, teachers and researchers in their learning activities and solve their queries by providing necessary information or documents to the right user at the right time. An academic Library is an integral part of the formal education system from primary level to the university level in enriching the education system in providing new knowledge, ideas and thoughts.

The office is responsible for coordinating and administering welfare services of all students. We liaise with the various schools and other service departments in the University to help manage students’ activities within and outside the University.

Office of the Registrar Planning

The office of the Registrar Planning coordinates the planning, design, construction and maintenance of physical infrastructure that facilitates the achievement of the vision and mission of the University of Eldoret in three functional areas; student affairs, academic affairs and administration. In discharging this mandate, the office is guided by two documents i.e. the University Master Plan and the 2019-2024 Strategic Plan, as well as global trends in the development of University infrastructure.

Office of the Registrar Administration

The Registrar (Administration) is charged with the responsibility of coordinating the functions of various departments in the administrative division of the university, which fall under the office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (A&F). These functions, in some instances cut across both the administrative and the academic divisions due to their nature. The Department oversees the following departments; Central Services, Human Resources, Catering, Health Services, Public Health, Transport and Hostels.
