Prof. Gertrude Were is a nutritionist by profession and a registered member of the Kenya Nutritionists and Dieticians’ Institute (KNDI). Currently, she is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences with a teaching experience of 30 years at university level. She has mentored many students both at M. Sc and PhD level, has published several scientific papers in peer reviewed journals and co-authored three books in her discipline.
Prof. Samuel Lutta is an associate professor of Chemistry and holds PhD in inorganic chemistry. He is a subject expert in inorganic chemistry, material science, and environmental chemistry.
Prof. Samuel Lutta holds a B.Ed (Hons) from Egerton University, an MSc (Chemistry) from Egerton University, and a Ph.D. (Inorganic Chemistry) from State University New York - Binghamton USA. He was awarded a Commonwealth fellowship in 2012 to do a Postdoc at the University of Strathclyde in the UK.
Dr. Rop has PhD in Plant Pathology from Moi University, M.Sc. Plant Sciences from Wageningen University, Netherlands, and BSc. Agriculture from Larenstein – Netherlands.
Dr. Mwasi holds a Doctorate Degree in Environmental Science from the University of Amsterdam, Masters of Arts in Geography from Carleton University, Ottawa and a Bachelor of Science in Surveying and Photogrammetry from University of Nairobi.
