The 10^th International Interdisciplinary Conference was held 2 - 3^rd April, 2025 at the NS Building. The event brought together scholars, researchers, professionals, and students from diverse academic and professional backgrounds to foster dialogue, collaboration, and innovation across disciplines.

6th Annual Innovation Week And Public Lecture

Ms. Lindah Laboso, our recently appointed member of the University Council representing the Principal Secretary, State Department for Higher Education and Research, Ministry of Education, was hosted for a guided tour of both the Main Campus and the Eldoret Town Campus by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Planning, Research and Extension), Prof. Philip Raburu. This excursion formed an integral part of her induction programme designed to familiarize her with the operational domains of the University.

The Swearing In Ceremony of the 12^th Students’ Council took place on Friday 4th April, 2025. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Steven Anditi, the University Senior Legal Officer. A total of 27 newly elected School Representatives and 7 (seven) members of the Students’ Council were sworn in.

The Vice-Chancellor received a delegation from the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK), led by Ms. Betina Muthama, Director of Nursing Services (MOH) and Deputy Director of Education and Examination at NCK, along with Mr. Kevin Ngeno, Compliance Officer at NCK, and Ms. Pauline Okongo, Administrative Officer. The University management and the Nursing team engaged in successful deliberations on matters concerning the Nursing curriculum.

The Disability Mainstreaming Committee, in collaboration with the National Council for People with Disabilities (NCPWD), organized an awareness workshop for members of the University community. Aim and Scope

Hon. Eng. Martha Cheruto, the C.E.C. Trade, Industrialization, Tourism, Cooperatives and Enterprise Development from the County Government of Uasin Gishu paid a courtesy call to Prof. Thomas Cheruiyot. Their discussions revolved around the collaboration between the University and the County Government as well as the various opportunities that could arise from the partnership.
