University of Eldoret Signs an MoU with FiBS Afrique to Strengthen skill development in the country

University of Eldoret, on 28th July, 2025, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FIBS-RILLL AFRIQUE LTD COMPANY in their efforts to improve skills development in the country. This collaboration speaks to the University of Eldoret’s mission of meeting the needs and aspirations of the dynamic society through provision of relevant short term trainings that targets local communities’ production value chains.

University of Eldoret Co-Hosts UK-East Africa Research Management Capacity Strengthening Workshop

The University of Eldoret (UoE) was privileged to co-host the first UK-East Africa Research Management Capacity Strengthening Workshop, an international collaboration aimed at enhancing financial, policy, and legal frameworks governing research in higher education institutions. The four-day workshop brought together participants from University of Eldoret Royal Holloway – University of London (UK), Kibabii University (Kenya), and Makerere University (Uganda).

University of Eldoret Reinforces Commitment to Agribusiness at Annual Trade Fair

University of Eldoret Vice Chancellor Professor Thomas Cheruiyot, has emphasized the institution's strong commitment to agribusiness and the annual trade fair, which has been a key event on its calendar for the past 17 years. He noted that last year's fair attracted 19,000 farmers, with this year's attendance expected to exceed 23,000. He expressed appreciation to all partners, including Kass Media, for their continued support.
