Visit by the ABSA Bank (K) PLC

A delegation from ABSA Bank (K) PLC led by the Managing Principal Corporate & Investment Banking, Mr. James Agin, paid a courtesy call to the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Thomas Cheruiyot, to discuss and explore areas of collaboration and partnership with University.

The ABSA delegation included Mr. Peter Mutua (Customer Network Director), Mr. Julius Songok (Rift Regional Manager), Ms. Florence Gregory (Branch Manager, RUPA Mall) and Gloria Kimetto (SME Relationship Manager).

University of Eldoret International Students visit the Holy Family Childrens’ Home

The University of Eldoret International Students Association (ISA) in collaboration with the Outreach & International Students Centre (OISC) and aligned to the University’s Corporate Social Responsibility visited Holy Family Children’s Home located along Eldoret-Iten Road at Kimumu. The centre is managed by the St. Barnabas Catholic Church under the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament. The home takes care of the orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs) as young as one month old. 

University of Eldoret International Students’ Tree Planting Day

University of Eldoret International Students held their annual tree planting day at the University’s main campus. The activity, besides bringing together the international students, was meant to raise awareness and involve them in the government’s push to have 15 billion trees planted in the next ten (10) years to ensuring environment sustainability.

Farmers Field Day at Turbo

University of Eldoret Outreach Centre in collaboration with Hand in Hand East Africa and Turbo Self-Help Group organized a Farmers Field Day at Turbo on Thursday 20th June, 2024. In attendance were the Turbo Sub-County Agricultural Officer (SCAO) and Ward Agricultural Officer (WAO).  The theme of the field day was “Sustainable Production and Processing of African Leafy Vegetables.” Dr.
