The University of Eldoret, United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI), and MCN (Millennium Campus Network) are proud to present the Millennium Fellowship Class of 2024, an ambitious program to help make the Sustainable Development Goals and UNAI principles a reality.  Millennium Fellows were selected from a record-breaking 52,581 applicants to join the Class of 2024, hailing from 6,000+ universities worldwide.  The Class of 2024 consists of 4,000+ driven undergraduates at 280+ universities in 48 nations.

School of Science Students Participate in the 2024 Kenya National WorldSkills Competitions

Selina Mwao, Charles Omondi, and Ebenexer Akhonga, students from the School of Science,  participated in the 2024 Kenya National Worldskills Competitions at the Kenya School of TVET in Nairobi. The event which saw over 170 students from universities and technical training colleges compete in over 17 skill areas including Mobile Applications Development and IT Network Systems Administration where students from the University of Eldoret participated.

Accredited Private Hostels and Successful Hostel Applicants

All first-year students 2024 cohort are hereby notified that the University has limited bed spaces for accommodation on campus. Successful applicants for on-campus accommodation have already been notified.

However, the University works closely with private hostel owners to ensure availability of decent accredited private hostels for accommodation to all students. To assist students who wish to arrange for private accommodation, kindly access the list below and the details of accredited private hostels.

We are Ready to host the 14th RCE Conference - August 28th - 30th, 2024

Representatives from the National Environment Management Authority made a courtesy call to the Vice-Chancellor to assess the University’s preparedness for the upcoming 14th Regional Centre of Expertise Conference that is scheduled to be at the University of Eldoret between August 28th and 30th, 2024. The NEMA team was received by Prof. Lizzy Mwamburi (Director, Research and Innovation) and Prof. Vincent Sudoi, the RCE North Rift Region Coordinator on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Thomas Cheruiyot.
