Professional Experience
Dr. Parmain ole Narikae was the Managing Director of Kenya Industrial Estates (KIE) for over 7 years, managing 37 branches countrywide, lending up to Kshs.1billion annually and creating up to 30,000 jobs annually. He is credited with turning-around KIE to profit making since its inception & improving its performance which earned him the award of Moran of the Burning Spear (MBS) by H.E the President in 2019.

The University of Eldoret is proud to announce the selection of its First cohort of scholars under the TAGDev 2.0 program – a transformative initiative in partnership with the Regional University Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM) and Mastercard Foundation.
The University of Eldoret, Kenya, under the auspices and support of the Society for Molecular Biology and Evolution (SMBE) will host the SMBE Regional Symposium on Evolutionary Genomics in Agriculture, Environment, Biodiversity conservation and Health, in Eldoret. Evolutionary genomics is important in addressing critical questions and providing tools and strategies in agricultural production, natural resource management and biodiversity conservation, because of their power, accuracy and applicability, supported by advanced analytical and computational platforms.
The University of Eldoret (UoE), in partnership with VIRED International, launched the five-year project “Intersectoral Synergy for Maternal and Child Health: A Collaborative Endeavor across Kenyan Universities” on 8th July 2025 at VIRED offices in Rabuor, Kadibo Sub-County, Kisumu County.
