University of Eldoret Students Excel at Red White & Build US–Kenya Hackathon Finals

The University of Eldoret proudly celebrates the outstanding achievement of four of its students who represented the institution with distinction at the prestigious Red White & Build US–Kenya Hackathon national finals held at the US Embassy in Nairobi. The hackathon was organized by STEM Impact Center Kenya in partnership with the U.S. Embassy Kenya and brought together top student innovators from across the country to develop technology-driven solutions addressing real-world challenges.

University of Eldoret Holds a Disability Awareness Workshop

The University held a Disability Awareness Workshop at the Kenya School of Government (KSG), Baringo, from 30th January to 1st February 2026. The workshop aimed at promoting awareness, inclusion, and disability mainstreaming within the University. The workshop brought together university management, staff from the Dean of Students’ Office, members of the Disability Mainstreaming Committee, students with disability and key stakeholders from national and county government.

Kenya National Innovation Agency (KeNIA)- Institutional Working Groups (IWGs) Workshop

Kenya National Innovation Agency (KeNIA) hosted the Institutional Working Groups (IWGs) to a Workshop at Sawela Lodges, Naivasha, from 14th to 15th January 2026. The workshop was a follow-up engagement on the preparation of the Entrepreneurial and Commercialization Masterplan aimed at aligning institutional strategies with the Government of Kenya’s national Entrepreneurship and Commercialization agenda. Cohort 3 institutions, including the University of Eldoret (UoE), were required to present their draft master plans for peer review and technical input from KeNIA.
